Permanent Action — Cannot Be Undone

Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. Once your account is deleted and the 30-day grace period expires, your data cannot be recovered. Please export any orders, certificates or reports you need before submitting this request.

If you are an Admin user for a subscribing organisation, deleting your personal account does not automatically cancel your organisation's subscription. Please contact hello@qurbanapp.com separately to cancel billing.

If you simply want to stop using the app temporarily, you can log out and deactivate notifications without deleting your account.

What Data Gets Deleted

Upon a confirmed deletion request, and after the 30-day grace period, the following personal data is permanently and securely deleted from our systems:

Data Retained for Legal Compliance

Certain data must be retained by law even after account deletion. This is standard practice under Australian tax law and financial record-keeping requirements, and is not unique to QurbanApp.

About Retained Financial Data

Retained financial records are stored in read-only, restricted-access format. They are used only for legal compliance and tax audit purposes — never for marketing, profiling or any operational use. This data is not shared with third parties except as required by law.

Option 1 — Delete via the Qurban Admin App

The fastest way to request account deletion is directly within the Qurban Admin app (Android). Follow these steps:

Open the Qurban Admin app
Log in to your account on your Android device.

Go to Account Settings
Tap your profile icon or navigate to Menu → Account → Settings.

Select "Delete My Account"
Scroll to the bottom of the Account Settings screen and tap Delete My Account.

Confirm your identity
Enter your password to confirm it is you making the request.

Review and confirm deletion
Read the summary of what will be deleted. Tap Confirm Delete to submit the request. You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.

Option 2 — Submit a Deletion Request via Email / Form

If you cannot access the app or prefer to submit your request in writing, use the form below or email us directly at privacy@qurbanapp.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

All fields marked * are required. We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation to your registered email address.

By submitting this form you are initiating a formal account deletion request under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, GDPR (where applicable) and QurbanApp's Privacy Policy. We will verify your identity before processing. You will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours of submission and a final confirmation within 30 days.

Your account deletion request has been submitted. You will receive a confirmation email at your registered address within 24 hours.

Your account data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of identity verification, subject to legal retention requirements outlined above.

What Happens After You Submit

Here is the complete timeline from request to final deletion:

Within 24 hours — Acknowledgement
You receive a confirmation email with your deletion request reference number. If we cannot verify your identity from the information provided, we may contact you for additional verification.

Within 3 business days — Identity Verification
Our privacy team verifies your identity against the email address and account type provided. Your account is flagged as deletion-pending — login is disabled.

30-day grace period — Export window
Your data is preserved for 30 days. During this window you can cancel your deletion request by emailing privacy@qurbanapp.com, or request a final data export.
4
Day 30 — Permanent deletion
All personal data listed in the deletion table above is permanently and securely erased from our live systems. Financial records subject to 7-year legal retention are archived in restricted read-only storage.

Final confirmation email
You receive a final confirmation that your account has been deleted, along with a summary of what was retained and the legal basis for retention.

Your Right to Withdraw

You can cancel your deletion request at any time during the 30-day grace period by emailing privacy@qurbanapp.com with your reference number. After the 30-day period, deletion cannot be reversed.
